DIARY OF an INDIAN STUDENT

Literally all of us have gone through this thing in some or the other point of time in life and this is: 
"Padhlo beta , padhai bas abhi ki hai fir toh sari zindagi padhi hai mazey karne ki." (Study hard at this point of the time in life and you have your whole life ahead of it to enjoy)

Our lovely parents who tell us this whenever we are about to step into 10 std. (Boards ofcourse and now CCE making it all the more worrisome)

Our amazing parents who tell us this when we are in 11 (after all it is going to form the base of 12 std)

Our worried parents who tell us this when we are in 12 std (why wont they be worried after all its a question of a good college, may be the best actually)

Our concerned parents who tell us this when we have gotten admission in a good college (for a decent job, yes why not, why else the need to study so hard)

Our parents while we are on the job "work to the best of your ability child, this is just the start of your career"

Aadat se majboor parents all through the remaining lives would direct their child lovingly in the similar manner.
And the obedient child just like how he had been following their advice would continue to do so with a hope that a day will come when things will be like he would want them to be.
But how can child expect something
different to happen in later stages of his life when he himself hasn't sown
anything different in early times.

Ps: advise for my dearest friends is 2 magical words (I call it magical coz the result it produces are miraculously unbelievable)  "Explore Yourself". And "Suno sabki karo apni" and "try to understand your parents, going against them is nowhere close to a solution and padh bhi lia karo"

advise for the parents from me "just be a little less harsh on the child"

And parents have a tendency to compare their child to others.

So all i have to say to them is the very famous Bill Gates quote "Dont compare yourself(your child) to anyone in the world, if you do so you are insulting yourself(your blood)" . Parents dont compare your child and support them.

 If the passion is well known follow it. Else listen to what your parents say and keep the fire inside alive in you.

And remember the great words said by Opera Winfrey - "you get in life what you have the courage to ask for "

COMMENT PLEASE!!

Each one of us have our accounts on either Facebook or Instagram or Twitter or on all or anyother xyz social networking website.

As per a survey only Facebook users grow at the rate of 7000000 users per day. What to say about others!

Which is why multipurpose social networking websites are gaining huge popularity among all age-groups.

The various types of facility that these sites offer are:

1)Ease of Communicating with anyone across the globe.

2)Sharing of multimedia,audio,video files.

3)Sharing of images,interests.

4)Ease of expressing,feelings,emotions with the use of emoticons.

5)The status updating facility.  
  
With these, all the more one can have a clear picture of what is happening in others life and some peeps may begin to use such information as a mode of stalking.

Nonetheless peeps like us dont give a damn as the securities are all well sorted.

One such trending buzz about these social networking websites is the 'Number of likes that one gets on their profile pictures' these days. 

 

Amongst teenagers it is more common to hear "Yaar kitne likes aaagaye?" Than "Kitne marks aye tere?"  Whatever we do, wherever we are, as soon as we upload anything we always have it at the back of the mind "kitne likes agaye honge ab tak???/kisne kya comments kiye honge???Unn comments pe kitne likes aye honge???"And so on.

 'Picture perfect competition' exists irrespective of the girl-boy difference. 

Its a competition where whosoever's picture has highest comments , that person wins, in the sense of being more of a socially popularly known person. The race to earn more likes and comments seems neverending.

 
100 has become a common figure.

I was sitting next to my cousin who uses one such similar website. I saw what he was doing. And i asked him "why have you liked this picture,  whats in that you like about it ,thats making you comment".

And he said "Its like a treaty you sign up when you comment, with a person you're doing it for".

"And its exactly like a comment in return of a comment." He added.

 "You get what you give" does this hold true in the virtual world as well??

All the editing done, professional photography cameras used and ofcourse 'selfies' now, are meant to earn one with more and more comments.

Even the leading internet service provider multinational telecommunications company has used comments and likes ko kamana wala funda in their ad to promote the use of internet.

Ps: An advise from me to make your pitcha more comment prone would be to add an appropriate caption with it. Whatsoever upload at your own risk. :P 

 And remember the great words of Victor Hugo , a french poet and novelist "A compliment is something like a kiss through a veil".

So comment karo and khushiyan baaton.
